Keep the Faith
Welcome back to another #WednesdayWisdom!
I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I wrote a Wednesday wisdom post on my blog, which is so bad of me. But, I promise to keep them coming from now, onwards. I know how much you guys liked reading my words and I know it definitely inspired at least one person out there, which is my ultimate goal. With all that being said, I’m going to start keeping these write-ups short and sweet, so it takes the pressure off of expressing my thoughts.
Lately, I’ve been feeling myself getting happier and happier about life and I think it definitely has something to do with the weather. But, summer or no summer, I find this new level of happiness really astonishing because, there’s so many things that are out of place in my life at this very moment and I have every reason to be sad. I have unanswered questions, unsolved problems, huge burdens etc., just like the next person. But when you look at me, you don’t see any of that. You see someone filled with happiness and light, if I do say so myself lol.
But, on a serious note, that’s only because I have chosen to focus on the things that I have been blessed with and I have chosen to be grateful for what’s in front of me rather than what I am lacking or in deep desire of.
This is all I believe God wants from us. Keeping a positive attitude even when you’re at the verge of losing it all. It’s a true test of our faith. We have to believe that no matter what, God is working. So, that belief is what should keep you in a positive state of mind.
It all starts with you making a conscious decision everyday to choose happiness. It’s most definitely not easy, because there are times where I just can’t hold it together anymore and I ball my eyes out, but, sometimes all you need is a good cry. Once you let it all out, wipe your tears, do what you have the power to do to make that situation better and when you feel like you’ve done all you can, leave the rest to God and trust that he will make a way!
Keep the faith and stay prayed up! Sending love and positive energy to anyone that needs it right now.
You got this and God’s got you!
