INSPIRATION, OH MY DAYS, SPOTTED IN THE 6ix

Girls’ Day @ Kōst Toronto

Sometimes, we get so wrapped up in our own schedules that we forget to spend time with loved ones. We are all guilty of this and we all carry on with this attitude with the mindset that our loved ones will understand.

Yes, granted, they will understand. But, what WE have to understand is that we need to stop taking their empathy and compassion for granted and actually make them not have to understand. You get me?

You remember my babies, Leah and Debbie from my first Girls’ Day blogpost! I love these girls so much. Leah likes to call us the three musketeers lol! We don’t get to see each other as often as we would like because we are all so busy, trying to make that schmoneyyy honeyy!. Lol, but in all seriousness, we have hectic schedules that clash a lot, so finding time to hang out can be quite difficult. So we try to make time, whenever we can.

Last weekend, we decided to pick a new restaurant and go have a little girls’ day. We picked a restaurant downtown Toronto, called Kōst, a rooftop restaurant bar, located in Bisha Hotel. It is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have been to. It has breathtaking views of the city and the interior design is top notch!! I’m sure you can already tell from the pictures!

We decided to have some wine and appetizers and play a little catch up, going around giving updates on our lives. It was time well spent and we decided that we had to do that once a month and we had to take turns picking new restaurants.

The point I’m trying to make here is, in friendships, relationships, whatever, each party has to make a conscious effort to spend time together, if not, we all get comfortable, cuddling the pillow of empathy from others.

I hope you guys like this post. Don’t forget to make time for loved ones!
