As Told By Sosa
Hey hey hey,
So, as you guys know, my blog got hacked and I lost all my content. If you’ve been following my blog, then you’ll know I started creative corner right around the time my blog went down.
I plan on using this section of my blog to interview creatives and find out more about them and how they stay inspired.
With that being said, I felt it was necessary for me to redo this particular post before I carry on with other interviews.
Our first guest was Sosa, a fashion promotion and imaging student at University for the Creative Arts in England. She was obviously the perfect first guest. I asked her to take some pictures that will be featured in this section, alongside the interview. Before we get to the pictures, let’s focus on the interview.
Nikky: At what point did you start seeing yourself as a creative?
Sosa: I’ve always been somewhat art oriented, however I only started considering myself as a creative in recent times; when I started my degree. Most of what I did before was what i had to do for a good grade, now I get to put more of myself and my interests into the imagery I create.
Nikky: Who inspires you the most?
Sosa: Mi Madre :D. I’m cheesy like that. My mum is just great.
Nikky: What keeps you going even during your hardest times?
Sosa: definitely my friends and family. I have some pretty awesome people in my life that keep me going.
Nikky: What is one quote you live by?
Sosa: JUST DO IT! Sounds really basic, I know. At the time someone said this to me, I really needed to hear it. I used to talk loads about what I wanted to be and do nothing about it.. the difference between where I was and where I wanted to be was actual action. Action and experimentation.
Nikky: What movie/song/book has strongly impacted your life?
Sosa: Refuge – John Legend
Nikky: If you had your own country, what one thing would you make free for everyone?
Sosa: Good + Appropriate Education. I’ll provide education that helps people develop whatever they’re already good/gifted at.
Nikky: What advice would you give to sixteen year old Sosa?
Sosa: I’d tell my younger self to read more books, eat more vegetables and to trust my gut.
Let’s get to the pictures…
Thank you again Sosa, be sure to check out her blog and show her some love.
Spread love always,
